Nog wat technische details voor de puristen onder ons.

Ford Mustang customers are being treated to something new and special. It’s the 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

This is not your ordinary Shelby; It’s a Cobra version and is the most powerful Mustang for 2010.

This 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is the most powerful SVT tuned Mustang ever built, and the Ford didn’t just stop there.
They totally redesigned the interior to giving it a more refined feel, the drive is also more responsive than ever.

Shelby Automotive worked hard on this version GT500, keeping in mind that they have to compete with the ever improving muscle car market.

The 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 is equipped with a supercharged, intercooled 5.4-liter (DOHC) dual overhead V8, that pushes over 550 Horse Power with 500 pound of torque at 4,500 RPM. This is the same engine supplied on the 2005 Ford GT. With all that power you will need good brakes, hopefully the 250 mm in diameter discs will do the job.

Een beetje zoekwerk mag toch nog, niet :unsure:?
Is wel een terechte opmerking voor de puristen onder ons, dus opgelet bij het gebruik van de referenties.
Inderdaad de eersten zijn zeker allemaal 2013 motoren, maar ik denk dat je dat verschil op schaal haast niet gaat zien.
Je kan natuurlijk ook helemaal uit je dak gaan en een volledige tuning kit voor de motor aanbrengen...:8
Het ligt er maar aan hoe ver je wil gaan... 8)

De 2013 heeft die blower bovenaan, of hoe noem je dat ding.
Dat is een extra riem en dat valt toch wel op, ook in model ;)
Maar voor referentie voldoen ze zeker en vast.

Daar zijn inderdaad mooie foto's te zien van the real thing.
En ik zit er dus naast met mijn blower en extra riem.
Zit op de 2010 versie blijkbaar ook.
Meeste verschil zit hem blijkbaar in de kleurcombinaties en afwerking.
 
Leuk filmpje....hij is ook ongeveer in de kleur die ik mijn model ook wil geven:)
