1/35 Rhodesian Landrover (Conversion) ( Base kit:- Italeri Pink Panther) [wip]

Had another look at the seat this morning and it looked really crap so I reworked them a bit, sort of thinned them down considerably. reassembled them both and they look just fine.

Some pix of the front seats think they look just fine

Rear seats are looking ok as well. Made a master and then cast some, built the frames, and should have them finished in the next day or so, above the back rests in position, still don't know what configuration I will use in the rear as the vehicles were equipped with 4 but they can be seen with anything from no seats to 4 in different states of neglect, I will give more of a description on the rear seats in my next post for those who interested. Eyes taking strain on these small parts.

Enjoy

Those rollbars look suspiciously much like earrings Graeme...:laugh::laugh:

Looking nice, isn't the steer to close to the seat? (in height and front/back direction?)

Quite correct there, below are some pix of the steering column console, the one that I made from scratch is a copy of the Italleri kit part. as you can see from the pix there is a vast difference between the real console and the one supplied by the original kit. I will make the required changes to the console and refit.

Let me make this clear: I think Deep Bronze Green will do.
"Dark Green" as a common expression does usually mean british olive drab (as in the first picture you posted) though. The most official "dark green", was the "Dark Green" on aircraft / helicopters. And this was not deep bronze green. ;)
