1/35 Tatra 805 (Tonda) [wip]

Well I have started with the painting of the chassis and the interior of the Cab

I decided to go with a black chassis and Russian green for the Body work.

Here is the chassis you will see that I have started picking out some of the detail, ie Brake line ets.

The same with the engine, I have some great reference Pix so the detail on the engine should be quite accurate.

Very nice work you've done so far.
Nice details you've added.
And say this is a vacuform kit, hard to tell when it's painted.

Hey Guys, yes here comes an update and hi time as well.

Have to agree with Erwin and Silenoz. Coming along nicely.

Hope you enjoyed.

Looks to become very nice... it's hardly to see this model is vacu-formed. Keep up the good work!:D

Nice work again G, see you started painting as well.
Nice spare wheel holder, turned out quite well.

Nice improvements Graeme.
Like the spare wheel holder. Great fabrication.

Thanks for the comments guys, most appreciated.

Missed this one

I made the holders for the Jerry cans, it looks as if it will work, and holds the cans quite nicely.

Here some more pic's and the reason for all your wet weather, the first real bit of modelling since the move. Seem to have found some mojo as well.

The above pictures are of the mudguards that i fabricated from foil (pie dish)
I think that they came out ok, they only have one coat of paint on but that will be fixed later on.

bumper_premod.jpg

Here is the front bumper, i will be doing some small modifications to it and then it will go onto its place.

Looking good Graeme.
How did you manage to get the pattern in the mudguards? Did you use the plastic ones as template?

Yes , from the reference pictures that i could find it seemed like they are pressed steel, I might be wrong though, but they look right

Nice progress Graeme and looking forward to see that bumper finished.
I know what you are trying to build but maybe it would not be bad to post that picture of that real Tatra truck for the other forum members so that they can see where you are going to.
