1/35 Tatra 805 (Tonda) [wip]

Here we are again, the first picture is a ref photo that I have of the front of a Tat 805 and this gives an idea of what i want to achieve, you will note that the bumper needs to be modified so as to fit a towing point.

Below is a dry fit of the cab and the bumper , i will have to modify the hood slightly as it is to long, it should not protrude below the cab, doesn't look to bad and seems like all should fit just fine.

Nice work, looks almost perfect like the ref picture.
You just have punched the holes too wide from each other, on the real vehicle they go like a pyramide ;) But I know it's not that easy to do this in scale, and it's not so important I guess.

Well here we are again.

I have finished off the insides of the doors, added more detail to the inner skin and added the window winders and the door opening levers. Its no 100% correct but its close enough, I also made the windows, you will note that the drivers side window is half open, I have done this intentionally.

Did a bit more work in the insides of the doors yesterday, a bit of a wash some dry brushing and a bit of dust at the bottom end, will fit these once I have sorted the front windows out.

My idea was to leave the drivers door in the open position, don't know anymore, maybe i should model it in the closed position.

With this kind of detail on the inside, you have to close them, so nobody can see the work you have put into it... :O :ph34r:


Open them of course, don't doubt ;)
 
Magnificent build, Graeme. Think that you should keep the doors open, but its of course your build. ;)
